Under 200 Calories: High Protein Sugar Free Rocky Road

Ingredients -

28g melted coconut oil
50g peanuts
2 scoops chocolate About Time protein powder
2 Tbsp coconut flakes
2 Natvia sachets
3 tsp chocolate vitarium
75g sugarfree marshmallows

Directions -

  1. Add the peanuts, marshmallows and coconut flakes to a blender and pulse until they've been chopped in to small chunks.
  2. Mix the Natvia, chocolate Vitarium and protein powder together. Add a little water to build a paste.
  3. Add the melted coconut oil to the chocolate protein mixture and mix well to avoid any lumps.
  4. Stir all the ingredients together and pour in to a lined pan or silicone mould.
  5. Refrigerate or freeze until set well then chop in to slices or bite sized pieces.

Makes 5 serves (around 50g serve)

Nutritional info -

200 calories
13g protein
12g fat
12g carbs
0.6g sugar

How does it compare to other rocky roads on the market?
On average my version has (per 50g serve):

51 less calories
10g more protein
the same amount of fat, however coconut oil is considered a healthy fat (unlike some of the fat used in their chocolate)
12g less carbs
18g less sugar

    1. Hi Lisa. Most Terry White Chemists should sell them. They're around $3.00 per bag.

    1. haha I have to hide it from my parents so they don't eat it all. I usually don't mind sharing, but no one touches my rocky road!

You have a great weekend too!
