There's nothing I love more than saving money and Woolworths is making it easy with their Woolworths Rewards program.
If you regularly shop at Woolworths you probably already own at Woolworths Rewards card or are familiar with the program. For those of you who shop elsewhere, the new Woolworths Rewards system is similar to the Coles Flybys card.
The difference is that with Flybys you earn points for the amount of money you spend at Coles (and their affiliate stores), and once you reach 2500 points you can redeem them for $10 off your shopping.
With the Woolworths Reward system, each week hundreds of items across the store can earn you Woolworths Dollars. Products with orange tickets on the shelf identify how much you earn (from cents to several dollars), and on top of that some of the products are also on special, saving you some money in the process. Once you reach $10 you will receive $10 off your next Woolworths shop.
Looking around the whole store for these orange tickets is not required as you can click here and view all of the current week's Woolworths Dollar earning items.
Now, on to buying organic at Woolworths. I was surprised to discover that the Woolworths Macro Organic range contains over 100 products, with most of them vegetarian and vegan-friendly. There's baby food, pasta, nut butters, canned goods, tofu, sauces, dairy-free milks, nuts, seeds and much more. Even more surprising is just how affordable these products are, some even cheaper than other non-organic options.
