[Product Review] Naturally Nood Apple Rumble Bar

You all know how much I enjoyed taste-testing and reviewing Naturally Nood bars when they first hit the supermarket shelves. And, judging by the amount of views on these reviews, you're all big fans of these vegan snack bars too. Well, do I have some great news for you all: there's a new flavour added to the Naturally Nood bar family.

Apple Rumble is like an apple crumble in bar form. It's got all the ingredients of the traditional dessert combined with a date base. The combination of the dates, dried apple, oats, nuts (almonds and walnuts), apple juice, and spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) truly makes you feel like you're indulging, but instead it's wholesome, containing "nothing naughty."

The bar itself has quite a soft texture compared to some of the other flavours. The dried apple adds a nice, squishy mouth feeling, and the apple juice really helps to reinforce that distinct apple flavour. The nuts add that bit of crunch and the oats add that slight savoury taste which cuts through the sweetness of the dates and apple.

The spices are subtle, without being overpowering, so kids can enjoy the Apple Rumble bar too.

Apple Rumble has kicked Cocoa Lamington from its pedestal and is now my favourite of all the Naturally Nood bars. Which is your favourite?

For the last bit of great news, Naturally Nood bars are on sale for $2 this week at Woolworths, so head in and stock up on your favourites, and give the new Apple Rumble flavour a try.
